This is not a usb-ser dev, an unmounted /dev/sdf resulted from above, but the installed programming software, could not find the radio. The cable by itself
is not detected.
Any tricks to get this working undder crossover? The comport dosdevices symlink trick does not apply here.
You can try a "x::" (notice two ::) to /dev/sdf. Make sure /dev/sdf is read and writeable by your user. You'll probably also have to create "x:" (one colon) to point to a dummy directory.
I did try that earlier ( I think?) , as i saw the unmounted /dev/sdf & I tried with ::k symlink to /dev/sdf , but however the program did not recognise the connection.
I do have it all working fine in virtualbox, however crossover would have been more convienient.
