The .rar format can be decompressed by your Mac. Once it's decompressed, use Crossover to install the application if there's an installer or executable in there.
Exactly. Install The Unarchiver or Keka or any other compression software that supports RAR files, uncompress it and you'll find the installer inside the folder in which you uncompressed it.
