On my MacBook Air M1 Base model, crossover 22.0.1 and using Heroic Gta 5 story mode runs fine, good fps even at 1650x900 resolution, but playing GTA online, I get good frame rates at first but after a while the game slows down a lot and then freezes. This occurs no matter which resolution I use and no matter how low the settings are, during the crash my Mac is like at 85 degrees celsius, while playing other games my Mac can go up to 99 degrees celsius so heating isn't the issue. I think the problem has to do with crossover.
they recently patched this with their latest update , please update crossover and it should be normal
