There to my knowledge, is no COG 7.1.2, there is a COG 7.1.1 (previous release) and 7.2.0 (current version) - the game has top rating of bronze on OSX and silver on Linux, but you need COG 7.2 to get the best performance.
You should be able to get 7.2 from the downloads page. My only warning is I don't know if you have a current paid subscription or not, but if you don't, you may want to back up your bottles if your subscription has run out ('cause if you're subscription ran out COG would only run in demo mode for 7 days)
