My office's Internet connection is not very reliable -- there are too many users for the available bandwith and so connections to important sites are heavily prioritized. As such, my attempts to get "You Need A Budget" to install the normal way (with Crossover Office downloading its own installer) has repeatedly failed with the message below.
I'm now doing the download myself using wget, but I'm curious, does the software installer support resuming interrupted downloads, and if not, is it in the pipeline?
Could not download the You Need A Budget installer
Exception('expected to download 17969952 bytes, got 2506365',)
If you have a working Internet connetion via your browser, you can download this file here:
with my dodgy 'net connection, it is most preferable to download the windows installer,
and then point the Cx program to that windows installer ..
works for me, anyway.
