The instal window came up automatically for the game when I put the CD in, no problem.
So I installed the game and then went to install the patch which came out later. I did just as I was told to do and re-installed the game and then tried to install the patch. The patch was downloaded and placed on the desktop so I could have easy access to it. I double-clicked on the icon like you would do to install and codeweavers starts up and you can see a small icon bounce up and down a couple of times on the dock (on top on the codeweaver icon that is) after it disappears nothing happens.
Is there something I am doing wrong and also is there another way to install it?
As a rule, when doing 'patch-work' , I copy the said update file
into the program install directory -inside- the bottle I installed
th title into...then, I use cxbottlemanage->clickon bottlename->
click on 'install software' button and navigate to the patch and
and make sure you install it into the same bottle...it's not the
only way to do it, but how I tend to handle these in COG/linux...
I am on a Mac so I'll give it a go and see what happens.
Actually, I am beginning to think that there is some sort of problem because I can't open any shortcuts even though they do open with crossover games.
