As this Mod for Half Life 2 just recently came out, I don't expect an immediate answer. I just recently downloaded Neotokyo (http://www.neotokyohq.com/) and tried to install it to an existing bottle containing steam and Hal Life 2. The installer finishes and then cross over games informs me that it has exited and supplies no information as to where it is. It looks like all of the files are where they are supposed to be but I have no idea how to run it. I know that all mods vary from each other but is there a general rule of thumb for these things? any and all help would be massively appreciated as I have been waiting five years for this mod. Thank you.
After you have installed the mod to a bottle containing Steam, it will be added to your games list when you launch the Steam client.
Unfortunately, your five year wait will have to be extended for a bit. The game launches fine, but if you attempt to join a team you'll run into this error here:
Which would imply that there is a particular error within the Half-Life 2 engine or the Neotokyo mod and not necessarily with CrossOver. (I think.) The closest you'll get to actually playing, it seems, is to join a game as a spectator and watch other people play. :(
I know that at this point asking further help is probably pointless (thank you for responding though), but it wont even list itself in steam client.
