DirectX 9

I need help on installing DirectX 9 im not sure where to get it and how to install it.Help?

Installing directx9 is a builtin function of crossver games.
A lot of the time, you don't need it at all...but then, there
are those titles which do benefit from it.

If you had supplied info on which crossover product you are
using, what platform/OS your are running on, I could've
pointed you to the exact documentation page ;

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/docs/

Have a look there -- else, in the crossover installgui, click
on 'Show all service packs and dependencies' - directx should
be in the list of things to install.

im using cross over mac 7.2.2 . and im running :Mac OS X 10.5.6

For crossover games, Mac ;

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/docs/crossover-games-mac/install-windows#installwizardchoose

On linux, COG 7.2.2 , the directx9 install appears in that panel
(I don't know if it does on the Mac version)

no it doesnt show up.

Hi, sorry for my not very good english.

I'm running crossover games 7 on the last ubuntu. I'm trying install a game. I clicked on 'Show all service packs and dependencies' to install DirectX and when I'm launching my game installation programme, it says "impossible to continue installation because of directX as not been detected on your system". So I tried installing the last version of DirectX from the web but the problem is the same.... Plz, help me

If the game complains that DX is missing that is sometimes not related to DX at all. Some games just say "DirectX is missing" if anything goes wrong.
