I play orange box trough crossover which is pretty sweet but the only problem is is that i run it on normal crossover, not crossover games. My 30 trial is about to run out and i was going to buy crossover but i have some questions: 1. Since i have installed everything in a bottle on normal crossover, will i have to reinstall everything if i were to buy and download crossover games? 2. is there any significant advantage to having crossover games rather than normal crossover?
If you go to "Users/user name/Library/application support" and rename the folder "CrossOver" to "CrossOver Games" it seems the bottles is recognised in CrossOver Games.
Only tried it with a Sam & max episode; it worked, but with graphic errors.
Well we only provide support for Orange box with Crossover Games, so if something in Crossover Office breaks Orange box games we won't know or be able to fix it, any programming for Orange box is done in Crossover Games. Games also has better DirectX support and is actively improved on there.
