Hello, new to the game.

Have folder containing following file types "data.bin", "setup.exe", "autorun.inf"
Question do I need to select just the "setup.exe" file, and crossover will take the "data.bin" files or do I need to specify the folder location?
Already have read some tuts on how to do this, name and create windows bottle, install certain dependencies into this bottle.
Then choose install windows application, then just point to the "setup.exe" file?

Is there somewhere on the internet a full good tutorial ?, all I find is always installing games into a steam bottle.

Already saw some YouTube movies, some of them made by "Andrew Tsai", but always the same installing into a steam bottle.

Hi Marc,

Often, just selecting the setup.exe file is sufficient. If it's not, you can try specifying the folder location instead. One other option is to move the installer directory into your bottle and run it there directly.

Your bottle's files live in ~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles and you can move the installer directory into drive_c of the target bottle. After you do that, you can select "Run Command" in the right sidebar of your target bottle and choose the setup.exe to run.
