Company of Heroes 2 on Apple Silicon M1

Hi,

I've been testing CoH2 installation via CrossOver for a few days now and I got it to load into the main screen, but as soon as I'm trying to start the actual gameplay or launch a benchmark test - the game gets stuck when it reaches 100% on the progress bar. Has anyone here managed to get it working on multiplayer/at all with M1 and macOS Monterey? Maybe some extra hacks I could try out or missing components to install? If not, is there any chance that CrossOver22 would fix it? Is there a beta version I can download somewhere?

Just to be clear, I specifically need the CoH2 Windows version to play online with my friends/players on the Internet, as the dedicated macOS port of the game is architecturally different and incompatible with the PC version... basically making this game dead on Macs.

Thanks!

Might be a RAM problem?

Could you please elaborate on the RAM problem? My config is an M1 Pro with 16GB RAM so it should be plenty enough for this game to run smoothly.

bump.

BUMP (I also have exactly the same set up and issue)

M1 - 16GB

Was trying to run on lowest graphic settings and it just hangs when starting a match.

Any help would be amazing!
