A User/Newbie Friendliness suggestion to help whittle down newbie-intimidating techie steps:
In the Linux CrossOver Software Installer the requester pops up "Select Application" it you can Select an Application to Install, else go down and hit Browse Available Applications" and if unknown hit Other Applications and continue. Why not have the program (as an option?) auto match-up one's selected install.exe to install with the list of Windows applications and if found auto proceed to Continue or if not auto suggest "Unknown" and proceed? Just a notion!
