Ok i've had this problem for like months now, and I'm really sick and tired of it.
Now i've tried a lot and i believe the solution is to increase the virtual memory.
Now...how the heck do i do that on crossover?
I know how on windows but how on crossover games?
Crossover uses the native operating system's implementation of virtual memory, and offers that to the program. Under Linux and Mac virtual memory is automatically controlled by the OS and isn't user configurable.
For TF2 complaining about out of memory it's more likely it's running out of video memory than real system/virtual memory. See if reducing your graphical settings in the game eliminates the error.
