So I had already downloaded the Setup at one point and installed it on Windows via parallels, then for some stupid reason i deleted the setup, now I discover this program and I want to be able to actually see if I can play this game, unfortunately that would mean spending 80+ hours redownloading the setup client. I have the entire game with all the latest updates "unpacked" from the Setup client though, is there any magical way I am not aware of that lets me use these files to install the game via CrossOver Games?
It might work if you created an empty winXP bottle in Crossover, navigated into the bottle's fake C:\ drive, and copied the files from your Windows partition into the same locations in the bottle. Might work, might not. There could be registry settings and whatnot that the installer sets when it runs and those settings wouldn't get copied over, possibly preventing the game from running.
