Issue:
When attempting to add an imap / smtp server to MS Outlook, it times out during test. Cannot add any mail accounts to MS Outlook.
Steps Taken:
-
Found an old forum post suggesting MS .NET 4.5.x could fix networking issues with MS Office, therefore, installed .NET 4.5.x to the Office 2010 bottle, but had no success.
-
Right+Click Bottle, Selected "Run Command", Ran "CMD" (Command Prompt)
- Tried pinging anything, no response (Intranet/Internet/Etc..)
- When pinging from the Debian Host in the terminal, no issues.
- ipconfig shows network adapter is configured and working
-
Tried other activities where network would be accessed, no success (update, activation, etc...)
-
Tried installing "Google Apps Sync" for Google Apps (To sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Tasks from Google Apps (Now G Suite)) - Launched without issues, shows "On Your Marks" window (similar to Chrome install on Windows), after about 1.5 minutes, it switches to "Connecting to the Internet" then fails with "Could Not Connect to the Internet"
It would seem the bottle is not working over the network. This is a fresh Jessie install and fresh Crossover install. I followed the steps exactly as described (for installation) in the Debian walk-through (.deb package)
Tried searching the forums and Google, not much on the issue.
Your help would be appreciated.
