I've been trying to install League of Legends and make it run smoothly on and off for the last few weeks,
Using wine doesnt work too well, using PlayOnLinux runs but I get around 20fps so I decided to finally give crossover a go!
At the moment its works pretty well other than the store and the occasional freeze, I googled around and a few people mentioned a patch or hacked wine and I was wondering:
A) Can you change the version of wine that CrossOver uses like in PoL or do you have to remove and reinstall Wine at the version you need
B)If anyone has the crossover patch for League(Ingame Store)? I've tried searching but not many results were found
Assuming this is about the crash in the in-game shop, we fixed that bug, but the fix was too invasive for CrossOver 15. It should be fixed in CrossOver 16, which will likely be released near the end of this year.
As for your specific questions:
No, a specific CrossOver version is based on a specific Wine version. You can't change this.
As far as I'm aware, no such patch exists for CrossOver. There used to be a hack for Wine, but with current versions of Wine the bug is fixed and no patch should be needed for this.

This seems to be a new issue:
steps to reproduce:
Run the LOL client
Log in
Start a custom game
Once you enter the rift click on the shop or press "P"
Shop opens, no items are loaded, the game freezes.
I don't have any crashes.
Is there a way for me to provide you with some debug logs?
Thanks,
B
