since theESO doesnt run anymore 5 weeks ago im hardly searching for some other gaming options on my mac... after trying parallels, Whisky/wine + the new GPTK (with SONOMA) I finally ended up here with crossover - because none of them worked for me.
Now I`ve seen that skyrim and farthest frontier should run very well via crossover - so I installed steam and both games.. .but none of them will work, too... .:(
FF brings an monitor resolution error and something about DX11 could not switch resolution...
Skyrim brings the same error message as it did with the GPTK - it does open a wine debugger and and fatal error - something about Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x0000000000000000 in 64-bit code (0x00000140006bb1). ...
What I`ve tried so far:
- changing resolution and using Display Menu Pro for Mac
- Istalling "DirectX for modern games" into my steam bottle
- trying several steam gamestart options (-w / -h ; -fullscreen; etc.)
and yeah, some restarts as well... :D
