I have been using crossover games with imvu for several weeks with no problem. About 2 weeks ago i had to get a new hard drive installed in my macbook. I reinstalled everything like before but now it won't run imvu. What's with that?

I've seen a ticket indicating that the upgrade to Snow Leopard and/or (more likely) Crossover 8.0 breaks functionality with imvu.

When you got a new hard drive for your macbook, did you change your version of the OS X? Did you upgrade to a newer version of Crossover games than you had been using (i.e. you had been using CX Games 7.2.2 with imvu and you re-installed with 8.0)? If you upgraded to a newer version of CX Games but are still running OS X 10.5, I'd recommend wiping out your current Crossover install (drag Crossover from the applications folder to the trash), and then download an older copy of Crossover Games (7.2.2 ought to do it) from your My Accounts>My Downloads>Archived Downloads section on our website. Install the older version of Crossover, and then see if imvu will run. If not, you'll probably need to re-install imvu into a brand new bottle (delete the pre-existing bottle, first, to eliminate any confusion).
