How can crossover game be optimized to run p-server apps faster? I have been using wine via Ubuntu to attempt to play some notable p-server variants of popular MMOs.
The native games fail to install due xtrap and gameguards. However, the same games ran from p-servers run near flawlessly except for the laggy or slowness of gameplay.
Is there some tweakings that need to be done in the emu to make it run as fast as it would in windows XP or vista.
Is there a howto guide for setting up Crossover games to better handle the directx rendering for games? Any ideas?
