Hi Team, I am trying to install .net framework 4.8 on crossover so that i can run ninjatrader software, which requires 4.8 as a prerequesite. The install of 4.8 gets most of the way through and then just hangs when its downloading netfx_full_x86.msi. Do you have any ideas as to how i can get this installed? Have tried putting it in the Ninjatrader bottle and a new windows 10 bottle, both with the same issue. Thanks, Jake

Hi there,
.NET installs do occasionally hang, but it's sadly very hard to reproduce :/ My best advice is just to try again in a new bottle.
Hi,
Newby here. I'm having the same issue with installing the .net sw. I read all the threads and do you install the .net sw in it's own bottle or are you supposed to install .net sw and ninjatrader in the same bottle? I'm new to this bottle lingo.
thanks for any and all help!
You should install any additional frameworks or associated software in the same bottle as the application you are attempting to run. Different, unrelated applications should be installed into their own bottles.
