I've recently tried to run the new Derail Valley game (based on Unity engine) on my Base M1 Ultra Mac Studio, however key feature is missing - train orders that you complete for money are not rendering at all. They do exist, can be picked, and you can make money out of them, but you just have to guess what is inside of them, which for the long run, makes the game unplayable.
I know that this game might not be very popular in Mac Gameing comunity, but maybe some people have already stumbled upon something similar?
I'll allso try to contact game developers to ask them for a workaround or any clues what could be wrong.
Other than that, the game works very well, with stable 40fps on my mac. It is a really fun game, perfect train sim for people who are not really all steam into trains.
I recommend retesting with CrossOver 23, which will be released later this summer. There's a chance it will be working better there :)
Best,
Meredith
