Is it possible to change the crossover directory from user's home? I would like to move the "$HOME/.cxoffice" to a place of my desire (like "$XDG_DATA_HOME/cxoffice").
I know we can achieve this by using symlinks, but some software use a environment variable to do it (mednafen with MEDNAFEN_HOME [1], for example). Normally this is a possibility to use the XDG Base Directory support. Is there an alternative to the symlink?
Also, I use WINE environment variables for my setup (WINEPREFIX, WINEARCH and WINEDEBUG). I discovered that when these are set, the crossover's installation for steam games fail (I only tried steam games). The steam installation particularly fails. Maybe the variable is overriding something from crossover's setup?
