I use the Tumbleweed Linux distro, and found that my CrossOver-installed programs stopped working after a recent snapshot update. Clicking on the icons brought up a quick Wine program indicator in the task bar, then nothing.
I googled for information on updating an existing installation of Crossover, found
on your web site, followed the sudo rpm -Uvh instructions, and promptly fixed the problem after downloading the latest 17.1 version of Crossover. The programs now load properly, as before.
But, I'm curious: is there a good reason that this web page is no longer linked in any way on your web site? Is this no longer considered the "right" way to update, and should I instead do a complete uninstall - reinstall?
