I am installing Crossover and I am very concerned with windoze malware, specifically with ransomware.
They say, that WannCry runs perfectly under Wine/Crossover.
Does anyone have experience with restricting Crossover access to the system?
I am thinking along the lines of running it in Firejail or Docker.
Does it make sense?
You cannot restrict CrossOver access to your home folder.
But you can run your mail checking in a VirtualBox VM - doing so will effectively prevent any and all malicious software infections on your system.
NOTE: that is infections spreading through email.
