I wanted to install a patch for a game so I clicked on the icon, like you would to install it, and the crossover icon bounced up and down on the dock for a couple of seconds then closed. I can not get crossover to run at all.
The only thing that I've done is updated to the newest version of Snow Leopard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't mention what version of Crossover Games and just that you updated to Snow Leopard.
By any chance are you running Crossover Games 7.x?
