Try deleting your clientregistry.blob - This error is a Steam issue and not a CXGames one.

I've tried that and I've also tried restarting Steam several times. I do agree it's probably a Steam client error, but I thought it was strange that no one on their forums seems to be experiencing the problem at this time, so I thought I would try here. I've also tried running the executable with CX's handy run a Windoze command dialog, but nothing happens there. Does anyone know the command to run an exe from the command line? Maybe I will see a run-time error (regarding Windows libraries, or otherwise)?

Huh - so I can confirm that it must be an issue with Codeweavers that Borderlands no longer launches via Steam - going to give it a try with my Wine install and see if it works there...

I hope a borderlands update hasn't broken the functionality with CX Games :/
Have either of you tried deleting the game files and re-installing Borderlands?
