hi, so here is my question, why you dont update wine to the newest version? v1.1.34 is out, and i think the newest you use in cog is 1.1.25. i have tired the newest version of wine in archlinux, for example counterstrike, perfectworld, guildwars, and i must say, that it runs 100times better than with cog. i really like cog, because i want to game on my mac too, so please update it...

it will be based on, is unknown at this time...

chief, you can use wine 1.1.34 on mac through macports.
