Controller randomly becomes unresponsive

I've been experiencing an issue where Crossover stops recognizing input from my game controller at random. I play Phasmophobia for about 1 to 2 hours each night and the issue usually presents itself on average 0 to 1 times in that timeframe. The controller is a Switch Pro Controller connected via USB. I have confirmed that the problem is happening at the Crossover level and not just within the game, as I've opened the Game Controller settings window for the bottle and it sees that the controller is still connected but doesn't show an input from the buttons/sticks. Disconnecting and reconnecting the controller while Crossover is running does not solve the issue, but quitting Crossover altogether, then reconnecting the controller, and finally relaunching Crossover DOES solve the problem. Occasionally, I've waited the problem out and just continued gaming with the mouse/keyboard and the controller sometimes does eventually become responsive again without relaunching anything. It seems to take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes for this to happen. I will add that I've never had any problems getting the controller to work initially. It is always functioning without any fuss when I first launch Crossover. This issue only happens after it has been working as expected for a considerable amount of time.

Crossover 23.5 (issue was present on v22 as well)
MacBook Air M1 2020, macOS Sonoma 14.0 (issue was present on Ventura as well)
Nintendo Switch Pro Controller via USB
