It seems that street fighter V wont boot since updating to Crossover 23.5
I get a black box then it crashes, I am thinking its related to the WINE version in the latest build.
Any suggestions?

That's strange; we had other good reports for this game with CrossOver 23.5. Does it work if you downgrade back to CrossOver 23.0.1?

Yeah I just tried going back to 23.0.1 and its running fine. Must be something to do with WINE in the lastest build that is causing problems. Thanks for the reply.

Or, is it possible to install some WINE version after a CrossOver install?

There's nothing stopping you from running some version of open-source WINE. The presence or absence of Crossover has no effect on other WINE installations, nor do other WINE installations have any effect on Crossover. There are many Windows applications which work great in, for example, Paul the Tall's Porting Kit that will not work in the current version of Crossover. Porting Kit is a GUI and set of installation scripts (similar to Crossover Crossties) for Wineskin. Just as one example, Batman: Arkham Origins (which worked fine for me in Crossover 22.0.1 with MacOS 13 Ventura) does not work in Crossover 23.5/MacOS 14.0 Sonoma but works perfectly when installed with Porting Kit under MacOS 14.0 Sonoma.

Making any changes to Crossover itself, by injecting other code, is not supported by Codeweavers. There's nothing stopping you from doing it but you aren't going to get instructions for that here and if you do it you cannot get technical support from Codeweavers.

To use an older version of Crossover, simply quit out of your current version of Crossover, download the older version from your account page, and run that. You can run both versions, just don't do it at the same time.
