With the announcement of 1.0 release of GPTK the question I have is:
Whenever there is an update, should be we using Apple's release to update and it'll affect Crossover 23.5+ or do we wait for CodeWeaver's to update?

Apple's Game Porting Toolkit and Crossover are completely different products. Crossover 23.5 uses some components of GPTK. If you want to use Crossover but you need some new or improved feature in a newly-released version of GPTK, you need to wait until Codeweavers incorporates that change into a new release of Crossover. You can also install GPTK if you want to use that. Nothing you do with GPTK will affect Crossover in any way.
There might be some methods of injecting GPTK components into Crossover but such will never be officially supported by Codeweavers and you will not be able to receive any Codeweavers technical support with such hacked versions of Crossover.
Thank you for the quick reply. I wasn't sure that they are decoupled as you've stated.
