Crossover saying I don't have enough disk space to install

I'm trying out CrossOver 23.5 on an M1 Mac mini with a 500GB SSD and about 250GB free disk space. Under CrossOver 22, I was previously able to install games such as JEDI: FALLEN ORDER and STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT II without a problem. Now I'm told that there's not enough disk space for either one -- that I only have 49GB of disk space available. I've seen something in previous reports about Time Machine Backups, but I'm not sure what that would have to do with the issue. Is there any way to fix this?

To update: I've deleted local Time Machine backups. I'm still being told that despite having 270GB free space on my disk (220GB purgeable), the apps in my bottle are only seeing less than 50GB of free space available.
