Just got this from GOG, crashes on startup. No output at all.
I am having trouble launching unsupported games anyway. I sort of recall that in the past there were some community driven helpers, don't remembered how that was called. Recipes? Not sure... Anyway, it made sure to configure the correct Windows version and maybe required additional software. Now I am mostly stuck when Crossover has no built-in support and it never has when I want to play a game. Should I install some kind of Direct X version if the games doesn't ship one? VB? Whatever. I usually try a Windows 10 bottle or if the game is really old go for Windows XP, but XP-64 wasn't widely supported and I think I should stay away from 32-bit with Apple Silicon Mac. Last game that totally left me in the dark with instant crashes were all iterations of Chronicles of Riddick. Focus seems to be a lot on new/modern games and adding better DirectX 12 support, which is great, but with older games I often feel very lost. Any help appreciated!
Just remembered it were "Cross-Ties" - weren't there some community created ones online on the website somewhere? Can't seem to find that anymore...
