Can I run CrossOver like I run Wine?

Hello. I had a trial of CrossOver a while back but couldn't get my application to work and thought I'd try again (assuming I can get another trial).

I'd like to run CrossOver the same way I run (ran) Wine. That is, set the WINEPREFIX, set any other needed variables, then run:

$ <path to crossover's wine>/wine <my .exe to run> <any arguments>

When I do this, CrossOver's version of wine complains it can't find the 'default' bottle.

Any way to specify a dummy bottle or just bypass the bottle altogether?

Or even better: is there documentation that covers running crossover/wine in this manner from the command line?

Thanks.

Maybe this will help, or at least explain why you are experiencing a challenge doing this:
