CrossOver Support - Community Forums

I was going to buy crossover games, but i have a couple of questions.

1. how can i download natural selection (3rd party half life mod)?
2. what happens if i accidently delete crossover games?
3. i have the trial version of crossover games and counter strike source always crashes on me?
4. when im playing left 4 dead 2 with all of the settings on low i lag why?
5. when i buy crossover games does it last forever?
6. I'm running 10.5.8 Leopard and im going to upgrade to 10.6.2 snow leopard will this mess things up?

Is there any reccomened settings for Left 4 Dead 2?

system information:
500GB hard drive
nVidia GeForce 8800GS
2GB of 800 MHz ram
10.5.8 Leopard

I'll take a stab at your questions :).

1) Download the mod and unzip and install it into the Steam folder like you would normally for any mods. Whether it works with it or not is something else, but it seems like it will:

2) Download another copy from "My Downloads" and register it again.

Basically, you have 6 or 12 months of support where you can download the latest version during your support contract. When the support contact expires, you can still download the latest version that was available to you via "My Downloads".

6) Crossover 7.x needs a workaround to work with 10.6 (Snow Leopard) but 8.x has worked fine with Snow Leopard.
