our next-generation version of CrossOver. We're cooking up a new
user interface which will allow users to install Windows
applications directly from "recipes" stored on our Compatibility
Database. Should be coming out sometime in December.
Mmmm... when it'll be released? there're no announcements about it and i think that people are excited about this... or it's just me?
It's still being worked on, hopefully it'll be out in January. The idea is you write up a recipe of all the things needed to be done to get a program running in Crossover, and the compatibility center hangs onto that info. When someone goes to install that app in Crossover it references the recipe and automates the entire install process, instead of what we have right now where you're manually moving files, editing the registry, and installing all of these dependencies by hand.
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
