Abe's Oddysee - Crossover Games Mac

Hi,
I'm running the trial v8.1.3 and tried Abe's Oddysee (which was already on my Steam account). The game seems to work, but any animation is really sluggish & has a slow refresh. Are there any settings I can tweak to improve this ?

I also tried HL2 which mostly works ok, but when there is a lot going on in the game my Mac appears to struggle, again leading to slow/stuttering frame rates.

My Mac is a 2.66GHz C2D iMac with 4 GB of RAM, which I'd think is more than enough horsepower to run these games.

Thanks,
Andy

Here's a link to the tips and someone's recommendation on the game:

Looks like it should work as indicated, but you might want to post in the forum as well.

Thanks,

The '-interline' command in the launch options did the trick. How did people know to do this ?!

Is there any other way to improve the graphics resolution ?

Thanks,
Andy

No idea how they figured that one out :). Anyway, not sure if there's any additional improvements as I don't own the game. Perhaps if you posted in that forum someone with the game might be able to assist.
