...but if I run the apps by "run" they are working just fine.

Even there I'm not able to add the application which I can run fine but not add to the starter.

When I look into the cxmenu.conf I find entries like this :

[StartMenu.C^3A_users_crossover_AppData_Roaming_Microsoft_Windows_Start+Menu/steam.lnk]
"Type" = "windows"
"Icon" = "5026_steam.0"
"Shortcut" = "steam"
"Mode" = "install"

As I never looked in there before I can't tell whether this is sound or not, but the C^3A_ prefix makes me somewhat suspicious.

Does anybody has a clue what might be wrong here?? Re-Installing CrossOver, rebuilding the program menu, repairing the bottle or a new bottle did not help so far.

PS: Sorry that I might have given the wrong inscription for menus/buttons - could only supply the german ones for now :)

That entry looks right. I recommend opening a support ticket for troubleshooting.
