Crossover Preview + macOS Sequoia --> file management problem with external SSD?

Hey beautiful people!
I have a very strange problem:
I download AC: Syndicate via Ubisoft Connect.
Then I can start and launch the game.
Everything is working fine.
Then I close the game.
If I try to restart the game now I get a critical error and a winedbg log looking like this:

https://pastebin.com/K1khupT2

Can anyone figure something out from this?
I'm pretty clueless.

Thanks a lot! :)

Update: I downloaded AC Unity to see if there are parallels in the problem.
I can't even start AC:U, it crashes directly like AC:S, but without the first successful
start. I'm starting to think that the problem doesn't have anything to do with the ACs but rather with file management or something!?
I should mention that I ran macOS Sequoia and Crossover from an external SSD. Could it be that after a first start Crossover or AC file management tries to store files on standard paths that don't work with external SSDs? If so, does anyone has an idea how to correct that?
Thanks a lot :)

Update 2: Can confirm that my problem has nothing to do with AC. I downloaded Anno 1800 via Ubisoft Connect. And I can't start that either.

With the most recent macOS Sequoia 15.1 Beta Update 24B5070a the file management system seems to be working fine again. I can start the game over and over again.
