I have a few games and programs that I installed and tried to get working in Crossover Games, but in the end could not make them work. So I uninstalled the games. The problem is that the uninstall from either the game's install or Crossover didn't work completely right, either. So I have these menu items that show back up every time I do a "Clear and Rebuild Programs Menu" that I really want to remove permanently. Where do I go to remove the entries in Crossover Games that I no longer want so they don't show back up?
That shows the entries already in the Programs menu. The problem is some of those entries are for games that have been uninstalled. If I delete them the way you suggest and then "Clear and Rebuild..." those entries come back.
What I need is how to delete entries that Crossover thinks are still installed, but they are actually no longer there.

Hi,
Have you tried deleting the bottle(s) you no longer need? That
typically works here...on linux that is.
It is the software that was installed in an existing bottle that is the problem. I don't want to delete the bottle because it has other games that work just fine in it.
Ahh...I see...typically I don't install programs into the same bottle unless
I've already determined they -do- work. That said, I don't usually install
multiple programs into the same bottle anyhow (caveat Steam) because it's less
flexible if you do so....
Not being a Mac person, I cannot really help you...but I know what's going on.
The menu entries, as determined by the current bottle, are still there linked
into that bottle...I know where this is in linux..;
~/.cxgames/[bottle-name]/desktopdata/cxmenu/
In the subdirectories of that path is where such things are kept...
Hmmm.....the Reveal in Finder command should put you in the directory for the icons.
I'm confused by the sequence of events. You mentioned you "uninstalled" the games and you deleted the files/folders in the "Reveal in Finder" area for the games you wanted gone.
Are there any remnants in the directory through Configure->Manage Bottle->Advanced->Open C: Drive in Finder and navigate through the Program Files folder?
The icons created in that directory are the ones that keep reappearing. The folders with the game installs in the C: drive part of the bottle are all gone. What happens is that the "clear and rebuild" puts icons back in the programs menu that are otherwise uninstalled in that bottle. There are other games still there and functional in the bottle, so I can't get rid of it without losing those games, too.
