Deep Rock Galactic issue with multiplayer with Crossover 23.6

Has anyone ever tried to play Deep Rock Galactic in multiplayer via Crossover 23.6?

Every time I try to join a server I just get the message "Multiplayer Session Ended".
Sometimes it works but 99% of the time I get this error message.
(The connection seems to work in general, because the ingame serverlists are displayed).

I have tried several things including a freshly installed user and reinstalling Crossover, but always get this error message when joining a game.

With other games I have no problem with the internet connection via Crossover, Deep Rock Galactic itself has no multiplayer problems on the Steam deck under Proton for example.

Can anyone confirm that they also have this problem with Deep Rock under Crossover?

My system: M1 Max 64GB - Mac OS Sonoma - Crossover 23.6 - D3DMetal

I have exactly the same problem.

Multiplayer is not working with Deep Rock Galactic

It looks like it's a problem with crossover. I have now tested the game with Whiskey and there are no problems with the multiplayer connection. Hopefully the devs will fix this in the future.

I managed to join a multiplayer game but i cannot join a friends' game or invite them.

I found out why, it is because Steam Overlay is not working with D3DMetal.
With DXVK and DirectX 11, Deep Rock Galactic is working fine, but sadly the graphic quality is not the same.
