RockStar Game Launcher & Crossover 25

Version 25 is just fantastic, I am able to play The Last of Us Part I and Uncharted and that is great!

I also bought RDR2 to play, however the RockStar game launcher does not manages to finish the game after 5-7GB out of 113GB the launcher stops downloading. Pausing and resuming crashes the Launcher and I have to restart. I have tried all types of D3DMetal, Wine, etc. I bought the game through Rockstar and not Steam.

It would be fantastic if you team of Crossover could look into it.

All the best.

Hi Serban!

I'm so happy for ya that you can play those titles! My advice with this one is if no one answers because you're using the rockstar launcher is to submit a ticket. There's a button at the top of the page that says Contact Us. They get back in a reasonable amount of time. They are in the EST time zone, as far as I know.

They are good people and want us all gaming!

I entered the ticket, but when submitting....

Are you using a VPN If so turn it off and ya should be good. :)

No VPN, but I have AdGuard and theft protection enabled

I disabled all of those and could submit the ticket.

Hi,
Did you get this issue resolved? Having the same problem with RDR2 and Rockstar.

RDR2 will download just over 5GB and then stop.

Is there a guide to installing RDR2 with Crossover 25?

I just kept trying and trying after restarting the app will continue where it left of, eventually I managed to get it all. BUt I do not have controller support for the moment, created a ticket for this as well.

I had the same problem and it "seems" that keeping the launcher window active while downloading (like moving the mouse every minute or so) helps. After trying many times, I finally managed to download the game through Rockstar Lancher.

I found this : https://www.reddit.com/r/macgaming/comments/187ntsl/cannot_download_steam_games_on_either_crossover/

Do you have ESync or MSync enabled ?

I cheated in the end by downloading the game on a PC, then transferring the game folder to the same location in the Bottle. Rockstar Game Launcher found the game files and RDR2 loaded first time.
