I haven't been able to play Space Marine 2 since the 3.0 patch on update as I get the following error messages:

EOS LOG-IN ERROR
Epic Unline Services missing in local files. Please close the game and verity integrity of game tiles via steam.

followed by:

CONNECTION LOST
Connection to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 services was lost
(Error code: AVF)

I have verified the integrity of the files and even uninstalled then re-installed the game without any success. There are a lot of walkthroughs online about how to get around this error message, but a majority (if not all) of them are done on an actual windows OS and not on Crossover.

The game played fine before the patch.

Can anyone help me out? I'm hoping there is a fix and I don't have to wait until Patch 3.1 to get this working. Thanks!

Space marine 2 AVF error is anti-cheat verification failure from what i know. Since mac os version of wine/crossover has no support of easy anticheat (as opposed to linux version) i think you won't be able to play online from macos. Offline mode should be probably working though.
On a side note though i believe linux users also struggle with that one so far, but maybe SM2 dev's will hear out to their plea and do something at least about those.
P.S i doubt any further patches will fix this situation for mac at least, because i believe prior to patch 3 they didn't actually support the anticheat properly.
