Sorry for the lengthy Subject.
I have two somewhat related question:
1) do I want to install the 32 or 64 bit version of Crossover on my Macbook Pro with M1 processor?
2) regardless of which bit version I install, do I care if I install a 32 or 64 bit Windows App?
For example, I'm currently running the 32bit version of Crossover and run a 32 bit version of Irfanview, the image vierwer and editor. I don't know the tech well enough to know if I can install the 64 bit version of Irfanview on this 32 bit Crossover.
If I install the 64bit version of Crossover, the same second question remains: do I want to run the 32 or 64bit version of Irfanview?
What are the pros and cons of these installation options? TIA!
Are you talking about 32-bit vs 64-bit bottles? 32-bit applications can be run in both 32-bit and 64-bit bottles, which 64-bit applications can only be run in 64-bit bottles.
Best,
Meredith
