This is a shot in the dark, but does anyone know if there are ways to get certain mods to work for Rome 2? I am talking specifically about the mod "Divide et Impera" which is a large overhaul mod that edits .scipt files and changes a lot of aspects of the game.
I've tried subscribing to it through steam, and downloading the mod online and putting the .pack files in the Rome2 data folder. In both cases the game loads to the menu, but whenever I try and start a campaign it crashes.
Its pretty wishful thinking within Crossover, I know, but on the off chance that someone else has figured it out I'd really appreciate the help.
Thanks!
Just to say, you’re not alone. I’ve tried a mod for a different game which didn’t work. The game ignored the mod files. As you know, CrossOver doesn’t support mods, but some just happen to work.
