Is it possible to run a game with an tool that hooks into the game?

Hi,

I have a question that I'd like answered before I spend a lot of time trying to get it to work;
Is it possible to run a game in CrossOver (Guild Wars 2) and run a second application that hooks into the game (E.g. Guild Wars 2 TacO)? This tool reads certain values in the game process like the player coordinates etc. Or is this not possible because all processes are isolated?

Thanks in advance,

Neros

In theory, yes, hooking techniques can work as long as both programs are running in the same bottle. I cannot say whether this particular program will work, though.

It should. I tested the same setup on a different game by opening two exes at once on the same bottle.
