Apps have a small empty bar under them when full screen with no apparent way to fix it.

So Crossover is great and I've gotten a few things working in it, however, I have this issue than anything I run will not go completely full screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm on an Asus Flip C302 which is a 1080p display.

Well Matthew,

if I had to guess, I'd say you're running that in Windowed mode. If you run it in Desktop mode, it should take up the entire screen. If you're not familiar with setting CrossOver into Desktop mode, try doing the following. Fire up CrossOver and click once on the icon for your app. Then click once again on that same icon, not the actual icon that will fire up the app. This should bring up the CrossOver configuration window. Now click the cog wheel near the upper right of your screen, and you should get a drop down menu with choices. One of them will be a checkbox with Desktop mode (or something like that) written after it. Click in the checkbox and that will set you app. to run in desktop mode. You can use the "less than" icon near the upper left of your screen to get back to the regular CrossOver icons and then try firing up you app again and see if that fixed the full screen issue for you.

Hi Matthew,

This is a known issue in CrossOver Chrome OS. I don't have an immediate fix for you, but if you drop a note to support with your device specifications and a mention of the problem, we can notify you when we resolve the bug.

Thanks,

Hana
