I'm dual-booting an older Macbook Pro with Mac OS X and Ubuntu -- and I was wondering:
Can I use my existing Crossover Games registration details in both?
and
Can I just point it at the same bottle? I know there are a number of Mac OS X specific and probably Linux specific hacks; but assuming I could hit a lowest common denominator... would it be possible?
The bottle format is the same, so it may work. You can try to symlink the bottles, but obviously if you run into problems and ask for support we'll first ask you to reinstall everything cleanly 😉
Also make sure that you have read-write access to the bottle on the foreign partition
