Hello,

Has anyone else seen the following on a MacBook Pro or MacBook?

After updating from CrossOver 6.2 to 7.0, a new symptom has emerged.

When I run Excel 2003 under CrossOver 7.0, the MacBook Pro's CPUs heat up and the fans rev from ~1900 rpm to over 4K.

The CPUs cool down and the fans revert to their normal speed immediately after I quit Excel 2003 and CrossOver.

If I run Word 2003 or Outlook 2003 instead, the fans stay at their usual speed and the CPUs stay at their usual temperature.

Thus, the symptom seems to be specific to Excel 2003 under 7.0.

Again, this symptom is emergent under CrossOver 7.0. This symptom did not happen running Excel 2003 under CrossOver 6.2.

We are experiencing some problems with Excel 2003 which may or may not be related. Can you create a support ticket for this issue so that we can more easily keep track of it? (Specifically so that we can assign the issue to a developer)
