Hey everyone, I currently run a 2019 Intel MacBook Pro fully spec'd out, with bootcamp installed and have been using it to play Diablo 4 with success. I certainly can't max out the graphic settings but the game is playable and no stability issues.
I am contemplating purchasing a new Mac M2 Max Studio with a 38 core GPU and 64GB ram for my home setup so I can keep my laptop at my office. One thing previously holding me back was support for Diablo 4. I'm not much of a gamer anymore but this is the one game I still love to play when I have spare time.
I understand that CrossOver will allow me to play the game but my question is will it be as stable as it is playing on my current bootcamp setup? Also, is there any performance loss playing the game through crossover? For example, will max settings on the game actually perform as well as max settings on a windows computer or is there compromises that have to be accepted?
