I just downloaded the crossover demo last night on my Macbook Pro, and then I used it to download Jade Dynasty. After a long patch, I was able to play the game last night. This morning when I went to play the game, I got an error message that said, "There is no windows program configured to open this type of file." Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
What version of CrossOver Games are you running?
You may be able to work around this problem by directly running the .exe program file for Jade Dynasty using the Run Command dialog.
To figure out the reason for the original problem, you can try launching /Applications/Utilities/Console.app. Click the Clear Display button in the window toolbar. Then, using CrossOver Games, try launching Jade Dynasty in the normal way. Copy whatever is written to the console log and paste it here.
